Long story, unhappy ending, Amazon sucks
I work call support for a roadside service company in NA. Today I was sending a battery boost to a person who had just got off work at an Amazon warehouse. I had some dead air to fill, so I asked if it was a rough day, and boy was it ever. She had been working for 11 hours straight, constantly on her feet. She was just taking a brief rest in her car so that she wasn't taking a risk driving while utterly exhausted. She needed a battery boost because her car died while she rested her feet.
The ETA for the battery boost was about an hour, and when I check why, it was because there wasn't any nearby garage to send a driver from because the warehouse was an hour drive from the nearest city.
